Olivia got her first round of immunization shots on Monday. I was prepared for the worst day of my life, having heard horror stories of terrible infant screams of pain. All I can say is the Tylenol must have worked. She fussed a little, then sat quietly while we waited the requisite 10 minutes to insure she didn't have a bad reaction. What a champ!
However, after her nap, when the Tylenol had worn off and her muscle soreness from the shot had presumably set in, that's when we heard her worst cries ever. She could hardly breathe through it, poor thing. Thankfully it was short-lived, and later that night she was her usual happy, social self at the Citizens Project holiday party.

The good news is that only the parents will remember the outcome of the shots. Fortunately for them! However, there are plenty of opportunities to come for Olivia to get even!!!
